NESA has published clarified ACE Rules on the NSW Curriculum website. The clarified rules come into effect from 14 October 2024. Schools must not implement the clarified rules before this date. Schools must continue to use the ACE Rules on this website until 14 October 2024.

Students who repeat a course where a submitted work or project is required may not resubmit a work or project that was submitted and marked in a previous year without NESA’s special permission.
