Commencement of study of Preliminary Courses

NESA has determined that the study of Preliminary courses must not commence before Day 1, Term 1 of Year 11.
NESA has published clarified ACE Rules on the NSW Curriculum website. The clarified rules came into effect on 14 October 2024.
The rules currently displayed on this website apply only to students sitting HSC exams in 2024.
