Stage 6 Science Pattern and Pathways of Study for the HSC

For HSC Pattern and Pathways of Study requirements for current students completing HSC (Year 12) Science courses in 2018, see ACE 8005 and ACE 8006.
A change to the HSC Pattern and Pathways of Study requirements for Science applies to Year 12 students from Term 4, 2018.

Stage 6 Board Developed Courses

NESA has introduced new Stage 6 Board Developed Course syllabuses for English, Mathematics Standard, Science and History. These syllabuses apply for Preliminary (Year 11) students from Term 1, 2018 and HSC (Year 12) students from Term 4, 2018.

NESA has released new Stage 6 Board Developed Course syllabuses for Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2. These syllabuses will apply for Preliminary (Year 11) students from Term 1, 2019 and HSC (Year 12) students from Term 4, 2019.

School-based assessment for Preliminary and HSC Board Developed Courses

Changes to school-based assessment requirements for all Stage 6 Board Developed Courses (excluding VET, Life Skills and Content Endorsed Courses) apply for Year 11 students from Term 1, 2018 and Year 12 students from Term 4, 2018.
